Sunday Dinner: Bacon, Rainbow Chard and Carmelized Onion Quiche


Carmelize chopped onions by browning them in some cooking oil
Chop up rainbow chard and add to onions and cook until wilted
Cook bacon thoroughly but don't crisp
Beat 6 eggs with some whipping cream
Add grated Gruyere and Swiss cheese to eggs
Add onion, chard and bacon to egg mixture and mix
Pour mixture into a pie crust
Bake for 30-40 minutes
